This was a pretty good training week for me! For the first time since taking some time off my legs have felt strong throughout the week. I have been doing more weight lifting than normal and I am excited to be working on being a stronger runner!
Here is a summary of my workouts from this past week…
Monday – 6 mile run @ 7:16 pace, 15 minutes on the elliptical, Conditioning Core workout from Nike Training Club
Tuesday – 5 mile run @ 7:36 pace, 20 minutes on the elliptical, core
Wednesday – 6 mile run @ 7:23 pace
Thursday -6 mile run @ 7:24 pace, 1 mile speed walk on treadmill @ 14:48 pace, core and push-ups
Friday – 5 mile run @ 7:40 pace, 20 minutes on the elliptical, legs weights and core
Saturday – 8 mile hilly run @ 7:40 pace
Sunday – Rest day, easy walk with the dogs, stretching.
TOTAL MILES: 36 miles
