One Year Later

I will be taking the day off from blogging today in order to reflect on the one year anniversary of the bombings at the 2013th Boston Marathon.

As we remember those who lost their lives were injured by the bombs it is important to also take encouragement from the stories of the survivors and first responders. Their joy in the face of their circumstances, the way that the city rallied around them to support the, and their strength to move past the darkness of that day amazes me.

I know my thoughts and prayers will be with them throughout the race on Monday and today most of all, one year later.

I encourage you to take some time today to look back at last year’s events and read some of the stories from the amazing survivors of that day. They will always the best example of what we all strive to be…

Boston Strong.
