Big News and a Giveaway Winner!

Boy do I have a lot to tell you guys today. But first, we have a giveaway winner to announce!giveawaywinner

Congrats Caroline! Check your e-mail for instructions on how to redeem your free socks. 🙂

Okay, now my big news! Remember my super excited but vague Instagram post last Thursday?photo (1)Well #thebestnews is that I was just hired as the assistant coach for cross country and track at MIT! Coaching is something that I have always wanted to do, and while I really enjoy the Online Coaching that I do (and will continue to do) I am truly looking forward to working in a team environment – traveling to meets on the weekends and getting to cheer my athletes on in person! 🙂

And the best part of all is that practices are at night so I can keep my current accounting job during the day while I chase my dream of being a full time coach one day!

Oh! And I entered Runner’s World Cover Model Contest! I would love to win and would really REALLY appreciate your votes! Click here to see my entry and cast your vote You can vote once a day from now until the contest closes in December!

Sunday Summary and more news are coming this afternoon, but for now I’m off to the farmer’s market with a friend! Have a great day!

How do you celebrate when you get good news? I like to celebrate with a big cone of sprinkles covered ice cream!

Who was the best coach you’ve ever had, in any sport? What made them the best!

  1. Yay congrats! I celebrate by having a family dinner with everyone who can make it (with yummy dessert of course). I’m so happy for you! Your team will be in great hands with you as one of their coaches!!:)

I celebrate things with (of course) a run with friends!
    Followed by frozen yogurt 🙂
As a coach, personal trainer and group exercise instructor for over 30 years now- you couldn’t have picked a better profession, but I’m biased. Happy Sunday Funday to you!

  3. Congrats on the new job!! That’s so exciting! I had a lot of great coaches growing up, both in gymnastics and diving. All great for their own reasons – you are going to be an awesome coach too 🙂
